Planting
The Watsonia Farms Planting Team, from Oaxaca, Michoacán Mexico, arrives in the early spring to start planting. If you get any of our vegetable commodities, it was their hands who placed these seedlings into the soil to continue the plant’s growth. This group oversees the planting of many acres, which is vital to ensure a bountiful harvest.
Stone Fruit Growing – Peaches, Plums and Nectarines
Like the Planting Team the Stone Fruit Team are also originally from Oaxaca, Mexico. Each year they are responsible for keeping up with our peach, plum, and nectarine orchards. With this particular group’s help the farm will be ready for a harvest full of quality produce.
